Ascension Institutional Review Board
The Ascension Institutional Review Board (IRB) reviews all study protocols to ensure the protection and ethical treatment of human subject research participants, as well as the scientific integrity of the research. The IRB operates under a domestic Federal Wide Assurance (FWA) for the Protection of Human Subjects granted by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
